As the waiting list for Lindy Hop classes is getting longer and longer. We advice to register for Solo, Tap or Balboa classes. We will post an update on this in the begginng of April.
Registrations for Harlem 2017 parties is open!
Registration for Party Passes is now open! Book a trip to four nights of crazy good music and even crazier dancing with live music and top performances!
We have exciting news to share! Professor Cunningham and his Old Scho is going to join us at Harlem 2017! They don't need a long introduction. Take a growling horn section, a grooving and soulful rhythm section, a woodwind virtuoso/vocalist frontman and you’ve got Professor Cunningham and his Old School. This 6 piece piece band performs the most swinging and grooving repertoire deeply steeped in the New Orleans tradition; from early jazz to early R&B— the likes of Sidney Bechet, Fats Waller, even Fats Domino! It is one of the most sought after Hot Jazz Bands on the international Lindy Hop scene. The group was the winner of the 2016 international Swing Band Competition The WorldJam, held in Madrid, taking out prizes for Best Band, Best Horn Section and Best Rhythm Section. Be prepared for a New Orleans party, without the hangover!
Be a part of of Harlem 2017!
The day has come for you to become a part of Harlem 2017! We are starting the registration for helpers / volunteers. If you can help out before or during the event and would like to go to the classes or parties for free, see the event from the inside, or simply be a part of it, then you should join our team!
This year the Harlem festival is on the lookout for extraordinary people, who want to contribute to the event from the bottom of their heart and be a real part of it. The so called 'nu lãba diẽna' team will be the hardworking core of all the helpers in this year's organization, rewarded with the grant of participating in all Harlem 2017 activities and behind the scenes adventures. We expect to gather people who are willing to devote more of their time and energy to Harlem festival, are not afraid of hard work, but eager to be helpful and feel that it is their festival! The most important part - these people will make Harlem 2017 happen!
Of course other ways of helping out are also welcome - let us know what you can bring to the festival. We need all kinds of help from people who can drive and know Vilnius, transport goods, speak foreign languages, take or edit pictures or videos of the event, are willing to help with simple, but important tasks. We are hoping to find people who are scrupulous, responsible, helpful, friendly, and can adapt quickly to new situations. If this sounds like you, let us know by filling out a volunteer form until February 13th.
We are eager to see you in our team!
